Hey there!…

I hope you’re doing well and enjoying your time at The Mindfulness Community, and if you haven’t joined us yet then it’s never too late!

I wanted to use this week’s blog to talk more about what our community is, and talk to you guys about how The Mindfulness Community can support you over the short and long term.

There are a load of benefits of mindfulness that people aren’t aware of and don’t fully understand, benefits of mindfulness are things such as:

  • Reducing levels of anxiety
  • Reducing how overwhelmed we may feel
  • Improving the relationship we have with ourselves and others
  • Improve our general health
  • Improve our quality of sleep

When people take up mindfulness, practicing on your own can prove very difficult and can easily lead us to getting lost if enough care isn’t taken. When it comes to mindfulness practice, it takes a lot of practice and support to keep a steady and regular mindfulness practice going. That is one of my intentions with TMC, I intend for it to be a place where people who are willing to go on the mindfulness journey have the necessary support they need.

On a weekly basis within the community, we get to: mediate, learn from one another and be inspired by one another. Contrary to what you might believe, you don’t need to have prior experience in mediation and mindfulness to get involved! Our step-by-step training will guide you in making progress easily and becoming more confident with the practice.

A benefit of being part of The Mindfulness Community is that the community is always available and open for your use and benefit, meaning you can practice in a way that suits you and fits around your schedule. At all times you will have access to an expert guide in myself, Keith Horan. I have over 20 years of experience in teaching mindfulness, and I desire to make all that experience available to people to help them on their own journeys.

Within The Mindfulness Community there are a few things that you can expect from me, things such as:

  • Live meditation sessions
  • Teaching courses
  • Consistent feedback on your questions

If you haven’t heard it already, then let me be the first to tell you that mindfulness works! Particularly when people are given the correct support and guidance! With the support from myself and others in The Mindfulness Community, you can make real and tangible progress. There are so many other people that have joined The Mindfulness Community and are going at different paces to each other. What’s important is that when it comes to the mindfulness practice we are all going in the right direction and moving towards finding inner peace.

I hope that gives you a little more insight into why I created The Mindfulness Community and what we have to offer! I hope to see you in one of our sessions and come along on the journey with us!

Until next time…
